Mission and Goals

Master of Athletic Training Program Mission:

The mission of the Missouri State University’s Master of Athletic Training Program is to prepare students for employment in athletic training and sports medicine practice settings. The program will fulfill this mission by providing comprehensive and multifaceted health care education founded on a challenging academic curriculum, instilling foundational professional behaviors, and highly immersive clinical experiences throughout the greater Springfield community that follow the University’s Public Affairs Mission.
