This year we are offering two levels of athletic training camp that will run concurrently.  Level one will be for students that have not yet attended athletic training camp.  Level two will be for students who have attended camp and are returning to advance their skills even further.

Resident and Commuter fee information

Resident Fee of $340 includes housing in the Missouri State residence halls, all meals, camp t-shirt, and education materials. A late fee of $25 will be added to those individuals who register after May 31 (if camp openings are available).

Commuter Fee of $265 includes lunch on camp days, camp t-shirt, and education materials. A late fee of $25 will be added to those individuals who register after May 31 (if camp openings are available).

Cancellation Policy

Your registration fee less a $25.00 administration  fee will be refunded if your enrollment is cancelled prior to May 31, 2019.  After May 31, a refund will be given only for medical reasons when accompanied by a letter from your physician.  No refunds will be given to campers who leave the camp voluntarily during the week.

Nominations for the Letendre Student Athletic Training Summer Camp Scholarship is open now through April 1, 2019.  This scholarship provides funds for high school students interested in careers in the sports medicine field of athletic training to attend a summer camp. The scholarship recipient may select the camp s/he attends. The award will have a $750 cap.  

In 2018, we selected two Scholarship winners; Sara Kaiser and Luke Chastain. Sara attended camp at Stanford University, while Luke attended camp at Springfield College. Both Sara and Luke had a great experience. We're looking forward to providing this experience for another deserving student. The Bear's Athletic Training/Sports Medicine Camp is designed for high school students who are interested in gaining basic athletic training knowledge and skills. Camp participants will have the opportunity to work alongside nationally certified and Missouri licensed athletic trainers, and to meet current MSU athletic training students and athletes. The camp will include one-on-one instruction in taping and wrapping techniques, behind the scenes tours of athletic facilities on and off campus. Additional topics to be covered include wound care, injury prevention, common injuries, concussions, heat illnesses, environmental concerns, nutrition, performance enhancement, and much more! At the conclusion of the camp, students will test their skills in head to head competition during the Athletic Training Olympics.

Students will get to experience life on the MSU campus while attending the most affordable AT camp around!
