The BSAT degree is transitioning to a professional master's degree 

The Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (BSAT) degree is transitioning to a professional Master of Athletic Training degree.  Students completing the BSAT pre-admission requirements during the 2017-2018 academic year will be the final class eligible for the BSAT degree.

Chart your course

Studying athletic training in one of the professional level programs at Missouri State will prepare you for the Board of Certification exam. Our graduates enjoy a successful track record on the BOC exam.

After passing the BOC exam and becoming licensed (in most states), you can immediately begin working as a certified athletic trainer. Our graduates have found employment in the following areas:

  • College athletic programs
  • High school athletic programs
  • Hospitals
  • Sports medicine clinics
  • Physician Practice
  • Military
  • Industrial settings
  • Film and television
  • Performing arts
